Biography of the Speaker:

Chong Zhi Xin, Associate Director; Southeast Asia; Power, Gas, Coal, and Renewables; Energy; IHS Markit, leads a team covering the energy markets in Southeast Asia. His focus is on understanding supply, demand, and pricing outlooks for power, renewables, and commodities. His recent research focuses on the renewable developments across Asia and the impact of government policies. Before joining IHS Markit, Mr. Zhi Xin was Principal Analyst in Wood Mackenzie. He had also worked as a Policy Analyst at the Energy Market Authority. He was featured as the anchor speaker for a CNBC documentary on Sustainable Energy. Mr. Zhi Xin holds a Bachelor of Business Management with the Singapore Management University.

Lee Joo Yeow, Senior Research Analyst; Southeast Asia; Power, Gas, Coal, and Renewables; Energy; IHS Markit, focuses on the fundamental analysis of renewables and power in Southeast Asia. As an experienced industry professional, Joo Yeow has presented at several international power related conferences and has been quoted by the media. Joo Yeow holds a MSc in International Political Economy and a BA in Economics from the Nanyang Technological University, Singapore.
