Topic : "Strategic Alliances in Indonesia Oil & Gas – when 1 + 1 equals 5"
Indonesia has very diverse set of fields and resources. Often it is difficult for the same company to have deep enough capabilities in multiple areas: different types of EOR, deepwater, drilling factory model, etc. Joining forces with another company who has technology and capabilities to improve recovery factor, production volumes and costs is often a smart solution. We will discuss what models and opportunities in strategic alliances are available today in Indonesia and how to address some of the existing challenges.
